NRTI Admission Entrance Test

NRTI admission 2020 is being conducted by the National Rail and Transportation Institute for candidates who wish to seek admission in their B. Sc, BBA, B.Tech, MBA and MSc. programmes specially designed to cater to the Indian Railway of India

NRTI Entrance Admit Card

1) Download Admit Card for the Entrance Test (applies to BBA/BSc and MBA/MSc aspirants only)

2) Tentatively, from August 14, 2020 onwards your Admit Card for your allocated test centre location will be available for download on the NRTI website.

3) You must download the Admit Card, and carry a printout of the same with you to your allocated test centre on the Entrance Test date, i.e August 23, 2020.

Exam Date

The Entrance Test will be administered on August 23, 2020 at multiple locations across the country.

Exam Pattern

For Undergraduate Programmes (B.Sc. and BBA):
Mode: Computer-based
Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Number of options: 4
Time: 90 minutes duration
Language: English

Question Types:
** Proficiency in English Language (25 questions)
** Reasoning & General Intelligence (30 questions)
** Quantitative & Numerical Ability (25 questions)
** General Awareness (20 questions)

Marking:
** +1 for every correct answer
** -0.25 for every incorrect answer

For Postgraduate Programmes (M.Sc. and MBA):
Mode: Computer Based
Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Number of options: 4
Language: English
Time: 90 Minutes Duration

Question Types:
** Language Comprehension (20 questions)
** Mathematical Skills (20 questions)
** Data Analysis & Sufficiency (20 questions)
** Intelligence & Critical Reasoning (20 questions)
** Indian & Global Environment (20 questions)

Marking:
** +1 for every correct answer
** -0.25 for every wrong answer

Admission Process:
For the candidates applying for BBA/BSc programmes and postgraduate programmes (MBA/MSc), the Merit list Rank for respective categories (GEN, OBC, EWS, SC, ST) will be based on Entrance Test scores. For the candidates applying for B. Tech., the Merit list rank for respective categories (Gen, OBC, EWS, SC, ST) will be based on JEE Mains 2020 scores. Merit list will be published on NRTI website.

Provisionally selected undergraduate students will be called for counselling on designated dates at the NRTI campus, Vadodara. If there are any vacant seats after 1st round of counselling, waitlisted students will be called in the order of merit for the next round of counselling on designated dates at the NRTI campus, Vadodara.

Candidates who applied for postgraduate programmes will be called on designated dates for subject test (applicable in case of MSc) and personal interview (applicable for both MBA/MSc) followed by counselling, dates for which will be communicated in due course. If there are any vacant seats after 1st round, waitlisted students will be called in the order of merit for the next round of counselling on designated dates to go through the same process.

At the time of counselling, candidates are required to pay fee for the 1st year of study. After payment of fee, admission is confirmed.
