Important instructions :
Candidates can take the GVSAT-2016 Test online at designated test centers across the country. They will be made to sit in front of a computer with a broadband internet connection to it.

To commence the online test, candidates will need to login with a user id and password that will be provided to them by the centre in charge. Candidates must ensure that the computer allotted to them is switched on and any problem with the computer should be brought to the knowledge of the invigilator, immediately.

The online test will have to it a total of 120 questions and will span across 2 hours. Candidates will have to complete the test within the specified time frame. No extra time will be allotted.

All questions will be of objective type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s). Each question will have at least 4 choices. Each MCQ will consist of a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement followed by four options labeled A, B, C and D. Only one amongst them is the correct answer.

Each correct answer will fetch the candidate 2 marks. There is no negative marking. Candidates can navigate freely through the questions back and forth.

Students are to reach the test center at their own expense and are not entitled to any reimbursement of expenses from SGVU.

Syllabus:
GVSAT-2016 will be in accordance with the NCERT syllabus for standard 11th and 12th. The detailed syllabus is available on the website. Candidates may refer to NCERT textbooks for the contents. A sample test demonstrating the features of GVSAT will be made available to the registered candidates on our website on which they can practice as many times as desired.

Examination paper and number of questions:
All questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question will have four answers to it with only one being the correct answer. Each correct answer will fetch the candidate 2 marks. No marks will be awarded for questions not attempted. There is no negative marking either.

There will be a total of 120 questions. The number of questions to each part will be as follows:
