Hall Ticket :

Date of examination: 21st February, 2016
Timings of the examination: 09:30 to 11:00 hrs (Slot 1) & 12:00 to 13:30 hrs (Slot 2)
Issue of hall-tickets (by email) 13 FEB 2016

Procedure to Generate Hall Ticket :
i) Enter Registration ID
ii) Enter Email ID
iii) Enter Mobile Number
iv) Enter Verification Code
v) Click on Submit Button

Notes :
** Students have to produce a copy of the hall-ticket, sent to the registered email ID, at the exam center to be admitted to the test. Students without a copy of the hall-ticket will not be admitted for the exam under any circumstances.
** Students have to produce the original college identity card for verification by the invigilators. Students who do not carry the original college ID will be disqualified from the exam.
** Students can take the exam only in the allotted center. Any requests for change of exam center should be communicated to the IEO Coordinator over email (mail to be sent only from the registered email ID). Only approved requests, with a new hall-ticket issued mentioning the revised center allotted, will be admitted at such centers.
** Mobile Phones, tablets or any such electronic gadgets will not be permitted during the examination. Students are required to keep all such devices in “switch-off” mode strictly.
** Use of standard scientific calculators will be permitted during the examination. Students are required to carry their own calculators. Sharing of calculators in the exam will not be permitted. Calculator apps on smart devices will not be permitted.
** Students need not carry any loose sheets for roughwork. The same will be provided to them along with the test paper.

Exam format :
The question paper (all categories) will consist of 50 multiple choice questions across 2 sections to be answered in 90 mins. Answers are to be marked in an OMR sheet.

Indian Engineering Olympiad(IEO) is a pan-India event to offer a real test of engineering aptitude for the engineering students in their respective fields on a national platform. Over 1,20,000 students, including several from the best of the engineering colleges across the country,are expected to participate in the contest to test their skills against each other.

English grammar, Synonyms, Antonyms, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction.

Number Systems; Linear Equations; Percentages, Profit and loss; Simple interest and Compound Interest; Ratio, Proportion and variation; Averages and Mixtures; Time and Work; Time, speed and Distance; Numerical Series and Sequences; Permutations and combinations; Probability.

Physics:-
Measurements,
Machines:- Work, Energy and Power
Motion:- Kinematics, Laws of Motion, , Rotational Motion, Gravitation,
Properties of Matter:-Properties of Solids and Liquids, Kinetic Theory of Gases
Magnetism and Electromagnetism:-
Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves.
Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Optics, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices, Communication Systems

      Results of IEO 2015-16 will be declared on 4pm, 7th March 2016 ( Monday ).
