Admission Letter and other information for the Phase-I Examination for the post of Officers in Grade – B (General) – DR – Batch Year – 2015

Follow the link from organisation website to download call letter. At login page, enter the
REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD
or

at the required places to download the Call Letter.

Phase-I Examination for Recruitment of officers in Grade ‘B’ (General)-DR – BY- 2015 will be held only on November 22, 2015 (Sunday) in two sessions.

(No request for change of session/ centre / venue will be entertained)

Scheme of Phase-I Examination :
The test details are as follows :

The objective type exam for Phase- I will be held on 22 November, 2015. The time and venue of examination is indicated in the Admission Letter, which is to be downloaded by the candidates from RBI website. Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as aggregate, as prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for Phase-II examination will be published on RBI website tentatively within a week after Phase-I examination.

Note : The candidates MUST pass in each of the above Objective tests. The passing marks in each test will be decided by the Board on the basis of the performance of all the candidates appearing in the tests. Candidate may accordingly allocate their time to each test within total time of 120 minutes for all the four tests put together.

The Scores of Online Examination will be obtained by adopting the following procedure :
(i) Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.

(ii) The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*
*Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.

(iii) Testwise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal points upto two digits. Papers of Phase I (except the test of English Language) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.Candidates will have the option to choose questions in Hindi or in English.The option of language is to be chosen in the beginning of the test. However as required, you will be able to switch/toggle between the two languages, after choosing the option for the language. Answers to the papers of Phase-I are to be marked by mouse clicking the correct option.

The time for the test is 120 minutes; however you may have to be at the venue for approximately 180 minutes including the time required for attendance marking, submission of Admission Letter with Photocopy of the Photo-ID proof, logging in, etc. You can attempt any question from 1 to 200 at any point of time within these 120 minutes. All the questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five answers to a question only one will be the correct answer.

You have to select the most appropriate answer and ‘mouse click’ that alternative which you feel is appropriate/ correct. The alternative/ option that you have clicked on will be highlighted and will be treated as your answer to that question. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

How do I download my call letter?

at the required places to download the Call Letter.

Scheme of Selection :
Selection will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks

i) The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

ii) A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

iii) Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter for examination from the RBI’s website.

iv) Roll No. of the candidates successful in online examination will be available on RBI’s website and a brief notice thereof will be published in leading newspapers in last week of August , 2015.

v) Only such number of candidates will be called for interview who stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective Tests, such merit being decided by the Bank in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in.

vi) Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online examination and interview taken together in order of merit.

What should I do if there is lot of delay in accessing the page?
Internet based Call letter download depends on various factors like Internet Speed, large number of Applicants trying to download the Call Letter at the same time etc. Therefore, if you are not able to download the Call Letter immediately, please retry after a gap of 5 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.

Where do I get the REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD?

REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD are generated at the time of registration and displayed on the screen. These are also sent to the candidate immediately upon successful registration, by way of auto generated email acknowledgement, at the email address registered by him.

My DATE OF BIRTH is rejected on login screen?
Candidate should ensure that the DATE OF BIRTH is same as he had entered at the time of registration. Candidate can refer the APPLICATION PRINT for the DATE OF BIRTH entered by him.

I am unable to login / screen displays the login failed message?
Please check your entries in login screen. You should use REGISTRATION NO. & PASSWORD as received at the time of registration by displaying on the screen and also mailed to you in auto generated email acknowledgement. Also, make sure that the DATE OF BIRTH you have entered is same as you entered at the time of registration and printed in the application print.

I have registered more than one application?

In case you have registered more than once, only last registration is retained. Therefore, to download your Call Letter, you must enter the registration No. of the application that you submitted last.
