Q. How should I fill the form?
Read carefully 1) Instruction booklet 2) Instructions for filling on-line application form available at the website, before you start filling the application form, on-line.
For your reference, proforma of specimen on-line application form (Part I and Part II) have also been uploaded separately. Refer the same before filling the application form on-line, so that you are ready with all the information that you would be requiring while filling the on-line application form.
Q. I am not able to see my user name and password on the monitor screen.
Set your monitor screen resolution to 1024 x 768 minimum and then try.
Q. I am facing difficulty in filling the application form. What should I do?
Send email to Helpline mail or call at helpline no. 8058474794 mentioning the difficulty being faced (Also mention your name, father’s name, mother’s name form number / username, mobile no. etc. in the mail).
Q. What is the amount of application fee to be paid for PSST – 2015?
Rs. 500/- This application fee is neither refundable, nor transferable and nor adjustable for any future PSST 2015. Any plea in this matter shall not be entertained.
Q. What is the last date for submission of application form?
Last date for submitting the on-line application form at the website is 23.05.2015 (12.00 midnight). And the last date of depositing fee through bank challan is 19.05.2015.
Q. Do I have to keep ready the photo and signature before I start filling the form?
Scanned / digital copy of your recent passport size coloured photo and signature in the prescribed format (jpg or jpeg, maximum 30 KB) will be required for filling Part II of the on-line application form. Therefore keep ready the same before you start filling Part II of the on-line application form.
Q. On the monitor screen, my signature is appearing very small in size. What should I do?
Do not tick the confirmation check box below your signature (on the screen) till it appears Ok.
Sign on a plane paper in an area of about 2″ × 1″ with a ball point pen. Scan this paper. Cut / select only signature area (2″ × 1″) and save it as jpg or jpeg.
Re-upload your signature file. Press refresh button or F5 key and check.
Q. On the monitor screen, my photo is appearing very small in size. What should I do?
Do not tick the confirmation check box below your photograph (on the screen) till it appears Ok.
Scan only your photograph and select / cut only photo portion and save it as jpg or jpeg (as max. 30 kb). Re-upload your photograph file. Press refresh button or F5 key and check.
Q. I have printed my application form. When and where do I have to send it?
You are not required to send it to JRRSU. Keep the completed form with all the documents safely with you.
