The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board came into existence on 15th day of July,1986 under the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Act, 1986 (Act No.14 of 1986). Presently 15 Govt. Polytechnics, 21 Polytechnics in Private Sector and 73 Government Industrial Training Institutes , 95 Industrial Training Centres in Private Sector are affiliated with this Board . The Board is located at Dari in Dharamshala. Which is in the lap of Dhauladhar range of Himalayas.

2. I am experiencing technical problems when trying to register or to complete an online application. What should I do?
A: Please check the internet bandwidth and speed. If you have been facing problems in loading the webpage, it means the internet speed is low. If you have any problem in registration, you can contact the Helpdesk at hptechboard@yahoo.in
3. Where do I get assistance from on filling the form?
A: The application form is very simple and self explanatory. Nevertheless, in case you are facing problems or require support, you may visit any of the facilitation centers created by HPTSB.
All government Polytechnics and ITIs are available as facilitation centers for online admissions. You may visit your nearest facilitation center to get the assistance. or you may contact helpdesk at hptechboard@yahoo.in
4. How do i fill the form in case i do not have Internet connectivity at my home or near me?
A: HPTSB has created facilitation centers to support you in online application for Admissions. All government Polytechnics and ITIs are available as facilitation centers for online admissions. Click here to see list of facilitation centers in Himachal Pradesh
You may visit your nearest facilitation center to get the assistance. You can use the resources like computer and internet at the facilitation center to fill your application. and this facility is available at no extra cost!
