The written examination for the post of Lower Division Clerk will be held on 09 May, 2015 in six Kendriya Vidayalyas. The written examination will be of two hours duration from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. However, the candidates have to report by 9.30 a.m. in their respective schools for written examination on 09.05.2015.

The letter-cum-admit card are being issued to the candidates. In case of non-receipt of ‘Letter-cum-Admit Card’ the candidate can download the same from the Institute’s website. The letters-cum-admit cards of 3068 candidates are attached.

The written examination for the post of Lower Division Clerk will be held on 09 May, 2015 in six Kendriya Vidayalyas. Candidates can download their Letter-cum-admit cards from the given list :

The written test will be conducted in Arithmetic, English and Hindi. The Syllabus of the written test will be of the standard of class 10th of CBSE Board. The minimum qualifying marks would be 50% of maximum marks in each paper. Based on the merit drawn, only first 90 candidates securing maximum marks would be called for Typing Test. The required minimum typing speed for the qualifying test is 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi or a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Only those candidates who qualify the typing test, would be interviewed by the duly constituted Selection Committee for appointment.

You are requested to paste a recent colour passport size photograph in the space provided below. This call letter has to be surrendered in the Examination Hall to the Invigilator. Therefore, you are advised to retain a photocopy of this letter with you.

Please note that you have been called for a written test which does not necessarily mean an appointment to the post. You may also note that you will not have any claim for future vacancies in the Institute, whatsoever, based on this test. Please note that you are at liberty to answer the questions in Hindi.
