Regarding e-Admit Cards for Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the Objective Type Screening Test for the Post(s) of Conductor, Class-III (on contract basis) in HRTC under the Department of Transport, HP, scheduled to be held on 10.12.2023.

** The e-Admit Cards of provisionally admitted candidates for the above mentioned post(s) along with instructions to the candidates have been uploaded on Commission’s website www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc and the concerned candidates have been informed through SMS/emails on their respective Cellular Nos./e-mail ID(s) as mentioned by them in the Online Recruitment Application Form.

** Examination Centre once allotted will not be changed. The candidates are also directed to go through the instructions enclosed with the e-admit card before appearing in the Screening Test.

** In case of any enquiry, the candidates can contact Commission’s office on any working day from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on telephone No. 0177-2624313/ 2629739 and Toll Free No. 1800-180-8004.

** No Admit Cards/Call Letters will be sent by post and provisionally admitted candidates will have to download their respective e- Admit Cards/e-Call Letters along with instructions for the concerned post(s) from the official website of the Commission.

** Therefore, the candidates are advised to remember their User ID(s) and password(s) earlier created by the candidates to log in to download their respective e-Admit Cards/e-Call Letters.

** The provisionally admitted candidates will have to paste a passport size photograph duly self attested / attested by a Gazetted Officer on the space provided on the downloaded e-Admit Cards, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Screening Test/ Examination, in any condition/circumstances, whatsoever.

Selection Process of Conductor

1 OBJECTIVE TYPE EXAMINATIONS
2 DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

A candidate at any stage of examination / selection which shall include final selection and sending recommendation(s) thereof or during the course of examination or any selection process conducted or being conducted may in addition to rendering himself / herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable to be debarred either permanently or for a specific period from an examination or future examinations or his candidature may be cancelled, w.e.f. the date as decided by the Commission, if he or she is found to be guilty of the following:-
a) obtaining / seeking support for his / her candidature whether in the Examination or document verification by any means; viz, offering illegal gratification to, or applying pressure on, or blackmailing, or threatening to black mail any person connected with the conduct of the examination, etc; or
b) impersonating; or
c) procuring impersonation by any person; or
d) uploading/ submitting false / fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with; or
e) making statements which are incorrect or false or flouts any Instructions Guidelines, terms and condition, given in advertisements or instructions communicated in any manner or suppressing therein material information at any stage of selection; or
f) resorting to the following means in connection with his / her candidature for the examination, namely:-
g) Using or attempting to use unfair means in the Examination hall; or
h) writing obscene matter or drawing obscene sketches in the scripts; or
i) harassing, threatening or causing physical injury to the staff engaged in the conduct of Examination; or
j) violating any of the instructions given to the candidates in their admission card or other directives including oral instructions given by the centre supervisor / superintendent or other staff engaged in the conduct of Examination; or
k) misbehaving in the examination hall including tearing of the scripts, provoking fellow examine(s) to boycott Examination, creating a disorderly scene and the like; or
l) being in possession of or using mobile phone, pager, scanner or any electronic equipment or device or any other equipment capable of being used as a communication device during the examination / Document verification; or
m) being debarred earlier on the above mentioned grounds by the Union Public Service Commission or any State Public Service Commission including this Commission.
n) attempting to commit or, as the case may be, abetting the Commission of all or any of the acts specified in the foregoing clauses;

Scheme Of Examination for Conductor

The Scheme of examination and syllabus for the objective type examinations (online/ offline) shall be notified in due course of time.

OBJECTIVE TYPE EXAMINATION AND VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENT:-
There shall be Objective Type Examinations (MCQ) (either online or offline). Marks obtained in Objective Type Examination (MCQ) shall be counted for deciding the merit of candidates.

The candidates, who will qualify The Objective Type Examination, will have to appear for verification of documents to ascertain their eligibility and category claimed. Final selection of candidates will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in the Objective Type Examination only.
