What is Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam UP (JEECUP)?

Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) was formed in the year 1986-87 for the admission in all the polytechnic institutions in the state by conducting admission test at the state level. Based on the nature of work, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has been assigned the responsibility to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE(P)).

1. What is Jeecup exam for?
JEECUP is an annual state-level entrance examination that is conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council to give admissions into government and private participating polytechnic institutes of the state. JEEC shall conduct JEECUP 2022 in online mode as a computer-based exam for polytechnic admissions.

2. Who can apply for Jeecup 2022?
As per JEECUP Eligibility Criteria 2022, a candidate should have passed their 10th class with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks. The offline exam will be conducted from June 6 to June 12, 2022, for all groups. Candidates who are appearing in class 12 or have passed class 12 can also register for JEECUP 2022.

3. How can I apply Polytechnic after 10th?
ELIGIBILITY. The Candidates should have passed 10th standard examination from a recognized Board of Education with a minimum of 35 percent of marks. ITI Diploma holders are eligible for direct entry into II year (10% seats in each branch may be allocated to such cases, if required).

4. What is difference between polytechnic and Diploma?
