WRITTEN TEST FOR THE POST OF BLOCK RESOURCE PERSON (BRP)

A written test (OMR based objective type) for the candidates who have applied for the post of BRP (Ref. earlier Advt. No.SSA/TT/BRP-Engagement/44/2014/13360 dated 21.11.2014 will be held at Guwahati on 11th January 2015 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. It is hereby informed that all the candidates except those applied for the post earmarked for the retired teacher are provisionally allowed to appear in the test. The candidates are requested to download their Provisional Admit Cards from the website (www.ssaassam.gov.in) w.e.f. 3rdJanuary’2015 onwards.

The reporting time will be 30 minutes before the commencement of the test at the following mentioned venue in Guwahati. The candidates are asked to bring two copies of their recent passport size photograph along with their identity proof on the day of examination. Candidates not having the requisite criteria as per advertisement need not come for the written test as this Admit Card is issued provisionally to all the candidates (except those applied for the post earmarked for the retired teacher) who had applied as per on-line application.

In case of any ineligibility detected, as per terms of the advertisement even after appearing in written test, the authority reserves the right to cancel/reject the candidature of the candidates at any time without assigning any reason thereof as applications of all the candidates are under scrutiny of the authority.

DATE OF WRITTEN TEST: 11/01/2015(SUNDAY).
TIME : 10.00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.
DURATION : 2 hours (120 Minutes)
VENUE: ICON ACADEMY, RAJGARH ROAD, GUWAHATI

The syllabus for the Test is as shown below:
(a) General English (10 Marks) : Class 12th Standard.
(b) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (10 Marks) : Matters related to State of Assam, India & World.
(c) Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Marks) : Graduate Standard.
(d) (i) Science (For Group-A) (30 Marks) : Class 12th Standard.
OR
(ii) Mathematics (For Group-B) (30 Marks) : Class 12th Standard.
OR
(iii) Social Science (For Group-C) (30 Marks) : Class 12th Standard.
OR
(iv) Language (For Group-D) (30 Marks) : L1 of 12th Standard.

Important Note:
** Candidates without the valid admit card shall be debarred from appearing in the examination.
** Candidate must use Black ink ball point pen to fill up the OMR Answer Script.
** No candidate will be allowed to enter into the examination hall with Mobile Phone, Calculator, Bags and any other Electronic Gadgets etc.
** No TA and DA will be paid for appearing in the said examination.
** Candidates must have to return the Question Paper along with Answer Script to the Invigilator before leaving the hall.
** Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 15 minutes of commencement of the examination.

N.B.: Retired teachers need not come to appear in the written test.
