EXAMINATION INFORMATION :
1. AIEESE Entrance Examination will be conducted on 7th May 2015.
2. The duration of the Entrance Examination will be 3 hours.

3. All questions will be of Objective Type, with equal weightage.
Part – I – Physics
Part – II – Chemistry
Part – III – Mathematics / Biology
Part – IV – English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning.

4. Candidates attempting Parts – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics are eligible for all the 16 programmes offered.
5. Candidates attempting Parts – Physics, Chemistry & Biology are eligible for B. Tech. in Bio – medical engineering, Biotechnology, Bio – Food process technology and Bioinformatics programmes only.

6. All the questions would be mostly from State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE syllabus only. The syllabus for the Entrance Examination is given on website.
7. Each part has 50 questions and each question carries three marks.

8. Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers. The candidate will have to choose the correct answer and fill the same.
9. For each incorrect response, one fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted.
10. The language of question paper will be in English & Hindi both.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION :

Entrance examination would consist of two papers i.e. Paper- I (PCM Group) consisting of four sections of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning bearing equal weight age with the objective type questions for Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech.) and Paper- II (PCB Group) consisting of four parts of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning bearing equal weight age with objective type questions for B. Tech in Bio- Engineering Streams. English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning section will be the same for both the groups.

Candidates must use BLACK BALL POINT PEN only for filling the answer sheet. The mode of examination will be English as well as Hindi.

PAPER – (I/II) GROUP COURSE COMPULSORY SUBJECTS
Paper(I) PCM Engineering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning
Paper (II) PCB Bio – Engineering Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning

SCORE TO BE AWARDED AND NEGATIVE MARKING:
There would be objective type questions with four options, having a single correct answer. The candidate is supposed to mark the right answer in the answer sheet. For each incorrect response, one fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet if they are not sure about the correct response. Please note that more than one response indicated against a question would be deemed as an incorrect response and will be negatively marked.

EXAMINATION CENTER :
List of cities where the examination would be conducted is given in the following list. Candidates are required to provide three options convenient to them for appearing in the exam. While every effort would be made to allot a Centre in one of the places opted by the candidate, the Board reserves the discretion to allot a Centre other than that of candidate’s choice anywhere in India. Under no circumstances, the Centre once allotted shall be changed.
