Letter-cum-Admit Card for Written Test issued for the post of “Junior Scientific Assistant, Grade – II” Date of Written Test: 08.03.2015(Sunday)- Date Changed to 26.04.2015

“Letter – cum – Admit Card” for Written Test for the post of Jr. Sc. Asst. Gr.II scheduled to be held 08.03.2015 (Sunday) at 10.00 AM at DAV Public School, Gandhi Nagar Colony, Kanke Road, Ranchi & at Cambrian Public School have already been despatched by Registered Post to the candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and have also submitted complete application. The candidates have to appear alongwith “Letter – cum – Admit Card for Written Test” complying the instruction indicated in it.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, the date of Written Test for the post of Jr. Scientific Asst. Gr.II has been deferred from 08.03.15 to 26.04.15 followed by Interview of successful candidates of Written Test in the ratio of 1 : 3 from 27th to 30th April’15 at HRD, CMPDI, Ranchi. The venue, timing of Written Test & other stipulation of admit card will remain the same as indicated in the Admit Card already issued to the candidates.

Mode of Written Test :
1. Your Roll Number for Test / Interview is as indicated above.
2. The Written Test will be of 100 marks. There will be 50 objective type questions consisting of two marks each relating to the requisite qualification for the post of Jr. Sc. Asst. Gr.II i.e. upto the standard of B. Sc. Chemstry. The candidate has to darken properly only one option out of given four options on the OMR / Answer sheet using BLACK BALL POINT PEN as correct answer. The duration of Written Test will be of 1.30 hrs. (90 minutes).
3. Qualifying Marks for Written Test will be 60 for General Candidates & 54 for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The successful candidates of Written Test for the post of Jr. Sc. Asst. Gr.II will only be called at the ratio of 1 : 3 to appear for Interview on 9th , 10th, 11th & 12th March’15 (Mon./Tue./Wed./Thursday).
4. Personal Interview will be of 30 marks at HRD, CMPDI (HQ), Kanke Rd., Ranchi.
5. In Aggregate of 130 marks (Written + Interview) also, the Qualifying Marks for final selection will be 60% for General & 54% for SC/ST/OBC i.e. 78 marks for General & 70 marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
6. The successful outstation SC / ST candidates of Written Test selected for Interview will only be reimbursed 2nd Class Rail Fare or actual Rail / Bus fare whichever is lower by shortest route on production of receipt only & after appearing in Interview.
